Data We Collect
iPerf3 Client & Server does not collect personal data for advertising or marketing purposes. Test results and settings are stored only on your device. The only data sent to external services is anonymous crash diagnostics through Sentry (see below).
Network Testing Data
The app measures network performance between your device and the iperf3 servers you choose. Bandwidth and packet statistics are sent only to the test endpoint you configure.
Crash Reporting (Sentry)
The app uses Sentry (sentry.io) for crash and error reporting. Sentry may collect: app version, device model, OS version, and error stack traces. No names, emails, or personal identifiers are included. Data is automatically deleted after 30 days. Sentry privacy policy: sentry.io/privacy
Permissions
The app requests network access only for iperf3 testing. No extra permissions are required for the core functionality.
Children's Privacy
This app is rated for ages 3+ on Google Play. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The only external data transmission is anonymous crash diagnostics via Sentry, which does not include names, emails, or personal identifiers.
